Large-Cladding-Diameter Polarization-Maintaining Fiber Fusion Splicer(250um)

Introduction:

This fusion splicer supports polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers with cladding diameters ranging from 125 μm to 300 μm. It comes with universal fiber holders and can also be used as a general-purpose large-core fiber fusion splicer. It is an ideal low-cost solution for splicing double-clad active/passive fibers, polygonal fibers, multicore fibers, and other large-diameter fibers requiring rotational core alignment, especially in high-power fiber laser applications.

Equipped with a high-resolution, high-magnification imaging system, the device features native X-Y coordinate overlay from a CCD camera and a 12-inch HD display, providing crystal-clear views of fiber end faces. This allows for precise manual core alignment and makes it easy to achieve polarization extinction ratios (PER) exceeding 25 dB.

The system enables external end-face imaging and rotational alignment before the fiber is returned to the main unit for splicing, ensuring both precision and user convenience.
